Let's hear what you've got, lads.

On this end:

Amiga 4000T w/64MB of RAM
CyberstormPPC w/233mhz 604 & 50mhz 060
Prometheus PCI Expansion Board
Voodoo 3 PCI
Generic 10/100 PCI Ethernet
Flicker Fixer for AGA Screenmodes
2x9GB SCSI HDs

All in all, badass hackjob to the extreme.

Thanks! Although I have been keeping up sporadically on the Amiga revival. I suppose I could put Linux on one, but then it wouldn't really be AmigaOS anymore. I'm not worried, I know somehow Amiga will rise again and dominate 96% of the market.

Yeah... I'm sad about the decline of "fun" computers... There used to be so much selection and innovation. Now it's A or B, and even the "alternatives" adhere to some standards base. Bleh.

OK, I've been so out of it-- that 4000T sounds SWEET. How did you go about getting it together?

I have an ORIGINAL Amiga 1000. Man, I bought that thing when it first came out. It has 1 MB of ram (got the expansion board) and 2 disk drives. And that's it for peripherals.

I've built countless PCs. If I could build me an Ami box I'd be in heaven.

    Amiga 1000
    with Kickstart ROM modification
    Ronin MC68020 16MHz
15 MB RAM (2.5MB Spirit board inside w/clock mod)
    Digi-View
    Amiga A1300 Genlock
"Amiga Companion" piggybacked 40MB harddrive (C.Ltd SCSI) and A1080 drive in A1000 case with legs chopped to fit flat on top of A1000 (Vince Lee and I each made one)

It looks factory fresh with all manuals, box foam etc. and still boots!
    Whoo-hoo!

Dude, I'd love to see a picture of that, seriously. One of my long-term wishes is to mod my old A1000 that's just lying around collecting spiders.

I have an A2000 I am not sure how much ram it has but it has three SCSII Hard Drives about 140MB space I believe. Video Toaster, original monitor. I haven't booted it for a while but it does boot most of the time but sometimes it doesn't recognize the hard drives. I have been thinking about doing some work on it and bring it back to life, but I haven't had a lot of time for it and to be honest I am not sure exactly what to look for or where to find it. ;~>

A3000, 2 chip, 8 fast, 030/25, 3.2gig, Picasso 2, x-surf card, opalvision, and it used to have a DKB 3128 card with 64mb, but sold it about 4 months ago for $500 (2.5 x what I paid for it).

I have a 4000 warp engine, Cybervision 64, AD516 audio card and a x-surf card in that I am looking to sell, if anyone is interested.

Don't have it any more :-(

    It was an Commodore A1200.
Intrinisic Computer Systems tower kit, keyboard, etc.
    Microbotics M1230XA (50mhz 68030, 68882) accelerator with 64mb RAM.
    Microvitec M1438S monitor.
    Seagate 420mb HDD.
An IDE/ATAPI CR-ROM of some description.
    Epson GT6500 Scanner.

It was awesome at the time. Alas the power connector on the mobo broke and it never really recovered. I got a Mesh Win98 PC for college (the first person in halls to get a Pentium II) and only replaced it this year, with an Athlon of some sort.

My old 2000 HD circa 1990, 40MBish HD, 040 accellerator (maybe only 030?) 12ish MBish RAM maybe 16. The accellerator and some RAM was put in after I used it regularly so I lose track of the specs. I got some fancy new external flicker fixer a year or two ago so I could use it with my modern monitor, doesn't use the video slot. My old 1080 is so blurry it's just sad. I got that 1080 with my original A1000 in 1986!!!!! But my mouse doesn't work, I think it's a blown CIA chip. Amiga OS 2.0 I think.

And I have a 2000 a friend gave me for spare parts to try to get the original working.

I'd like to get a nice clean A1000, I always wished I didn't have to trade that baby in for my A2000. And I really wish my mom hadn't given away my first computer an Atari 400. The A1000 was my second, and first real computer love.
